Peyronie’s Disease
Have you noticed a bend in your penis? Is this making sex difficult or painful? Has your penis become shorter? Are you afraid to seek help?
You could be living with Peyronie’s disease – a medical condition which affects as many as eight in a 100 men in the UK.
In Peyronie’s, a hard inflamed lump usually forms within the wall of the penis which contracts causing it to bend when erect. This may be a result of minor injury, a low testosterone level, or be linked to a common genetic tissue scarring condition called Dupuytren’s contracture, which causes deformity of the fingers and hands
At the WellMan Clinic, we are experienced in diagnosing and treating Peyronie’s disease. We don ‘t believe surgery is the only option. We’re using the very latest, non-invasive medical techniques – developed by reconstructive surgeons – to help straighten out your problem and to restore lost length.
