Dr Richard Petty
Dr Richard Petty is a Cambridge and Barts graduate with a special interest in men’s health. He is the founder and head clinician of the WellMan Clinic.
Over the course of his career, he was closely associated with the early development of long-term care of the elderly in the UK and has acted as adviser to governments of Arab states in the establishment of their acute health care facilities.
He pioneered prostate cancer screening and introduced Viagra to Europe in 1998.
His charitable efforts have included the introduction of peer education for promotion of sexual health awareness in British secondary schools.
He writes quite a bit, sometimes about gardening.
