Viagra, Spedra and Cialis Prescriptions
Well men are more effective
What are phosphodiesterase – 5 inhibitors?
The first was Viagra sildenafil introduced in 1998. The WellMan Clinic was the first to import it into the UK. Originally intended to treat angina, it had become apparent that Viagra’s ability to dilate arteries had a better use.
All PDE-5 inhibitors work in the same way, by stopping the breakdown of the chemical neurotransmitter which causes the dilation of the arteries in the penis. This neurotransmitter is produced at the ending of nerves originating in the brain in response to arousal “input”. No arousal, no erection – even with Viagra.
We now have four PDE-5 inhibitors to choose from:
- Cialis Tadalafil, effective for 36 hours
- Levitra Vardenafil, effective for about 5 hours
- Viagra Sildenafil, effective for about 4 hours
- Spedra Avanafil, effective for 4 to 6 hours
Of course, all four have mild side effects (due to other arteries dilating), the most bothersome being headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion and occasionally muscular aches and pains. You will need to try each until you find a favourite.
Before buying online, please consult a medical adviser especially if taking blood pressure treatment and/or medication for angina (chest pain).
The WellMan Clinic provides its patients with a prescription service for PDE-5 inhibitors. Patients can email or phone their orders to our staff, and collect or have them sent by post or courier. The only proviso is that they attend for a medication review at least annually.
